Four graceful historic guest rooms with king-sized beds and ensuite washrooms. Original tin ceilings. Curated décor evokes the Gilded Age of ornate craft furniture married with bold period walls and crystal chandeliers. Located on the second floor of the Main House, guests should be comfortable with stairs to access these rooms. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, one child under 12 (cot available).

CARRIAGE HOUSE

$220/night

Sixteen spacious guest rooms with a queen sized-bed or two double beds and ensuite washrooms. Soothing hues of Maine’s purple mountains at twilight. Crystal chandeliers. Bright rugs juxtaposed against a moody period palette. Hand-hewn writing desks made from trees reclaimed from the Androscoggin River, crafted by our own Matt O’Donnell. Located on all three floors of the freshly renovated Carriage House. Maximum capacity: 2 adults, 1 child (cot available) in Queen room; 4 adults/children (cot unavailable due to room size) in Double room.

Hillholm’s guest rooms do not contain:

  • Televisions or telephones: We have intentionally removed these items to create more tranquil space. If you choose to stream media content using our high-speed WiFi, we request that you use headphones while on premises to respect other guests’ quietude, including when you’re in your your guest room.

  • Alarm clocks

  • Individual refrigerators: The kitchen will gladly store any items you need to keep fresh for the duration of your stay.

  • Coffee pots or tea kettles: Coffee and tea are available in the Lounge from 7:30 a.m. onward.

Cots are available on a first-come first-served basis for King Rooms or Queen Rooms. Due to occupancy limitations, we cannot add cots to Double Rooms.

Our guest rooms are dog-friendly. If you need a room that is not dog-friendly, please tell us at the time of your reservation and we will gladly accommodate your request.
